the challenge

Fond du Lac County wasn't simply looking to produce another public service announcement.

They needed a campaign that would reduce stigma surrounding substance use, build trust within the community, and guide residents toward local recovery resources.

The challenge extended far beyond creating a compelling film. Every piece of the campaign needed to work together—from social media and streaming ads to billboards and local theaters—to ensure the message reached people wherever they were.

OUR APPROACH

We believe the most effective campaigns begin with authentic storytelling—but they don't end there.

Working alongside Fond du Lac County, we developed a strategy that carried one story across every stage of the campaign. Real members of the recovery community shared their experiences, creating a message rooted in honesty and hope. From there, we expanded that story into a complete multimedia campaign, adapting it for digital advertising, streaming, television, theaters, social media, and billboards.

Rather than delivering a single video, we helped transform one powerful story into a campaign capable of reaching thousands of people throughout the community.

Facebook & Instagram campaigns delivered the message directly into community news feeds, encouraging conversations around recovery while driving residents to local resources.

Social Media

The campaign aired across streaming services and local television, reaching households throughout Fond du Lac County with consistent messaging beyond social media.

Streaming & Television

FDL for Recovery Campaign Launch Platforms

From a single story, we built a county-wide campaign spanning social media, streaming television, movie theaters, billboards, and local websites—helping connect residents with local recovery resources.

Out-of-Home

Large-format billboards and cinema advertising reinforced the campaign throughout the community, extending the story into everyday life and public spaces.

Every campaign touchpoint directed viewers back to local recovery information, helping transform awareness into action through increased website traffic and resource engagement.

Digital Advertising

THE IMPACT

Instead of simply measuring views, the campaign was designed to connect people with life-changing resources.

The result was a county-wide campaign that generated millions of impressions, hundreds of thousands of video views, thousands of website visits, and meaningful engagement across nearly every major advertising platform.
