MEET THE MAN BEHIND MIRRORLESS.

Hi, I’m Alex Belville, filmmaker and founder of Mirrorless Productions. It is an absolute honor to tell client stories and make a living with a camera in my hand. I fell in love with movies at a young age and knew I’d someday be involved in the film industry. I just didn’t think it would mean running a production company with a team in Wisconsin.

While in film school as a non-traditional student in my mid-twenties, I became captivated by making short films and promo videos for artists, bands, businesses, and nonprofits. I was filming and editing videos as a freelancer when I wasn’t in class. I excelled at telling stories in a few minutes or less, and I knew creating videos was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, so I founded Mirrorless in 2015. Fast forward almost 10 years, and here I am, working with organizations nationwide with as much passion as when I started.

I’ve learned that I’m more than just a filmmaker. I’m a connector, and that’s how I can help you. I find a way to personally connect to every client story I’m about to tell. I love creating client videos with a cinematic and emotional touch because audiences connect with them more deeply. That connection leads them to not just remember your brand but support it. Knowing I play a part in growing your business and getting your name out there brings me so much fulfillment.
